Hi, this value exists in the advanced settings page for our hosts running ESX 4.1 and is set to 1.
As we are having IO issues with our SAN when performing migrations, and little traffic going over the VMKernel nic, would setting this value to zero on all the hosts in our cluster tell the host to use the network (rather than the datastore) to transfer vMotion data?
We've got a thread open elsewhere ...
