We are running vSphere Enterprise Plus edition and have a Datastore thats file format changed from VMFS to W95 FAT32 (LBA), this Datastore appears to be running in cache mode on all other existing Hosts that already had access to it and if we re-scan the Storage Adapters on these hosts we will loose visablity of the DataStore.
I'd really like to try and find out when or how thishas happened, is there anyway I can look within vCentre logs to trace back when a DataStore's file format changed?
Screenshot attached of how DataStore appears now, according to Vmware support there is no way to recover from this and we will have to remove this Datastore and create a new one,
