My raid controller card crashed the other day and I had to "Power Down" the VM which is running Windows 2008. When I tried to start it back up, I get the error
"Message from thematrix.cafeyoyo.com: Cannot open the disk '/vmfs/volumes/49ccefb3-5c9be44c-e361 0015171de932/fileserver/fileserver_1.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on. Reason: Invalid argument."
I then checked the vmware.log files and it seems to indicate that it can't read the flat file. I also tried to vcbExport, clone it, ftp it, read it, etc.. no luck, just get "Invalid Argument". Is there anyway at this point to recover the data in there, or free the lock on the flat file vmdk? The meta-data vmdk file is fine.
