Best way to monitor ESX with zabbix

Hi,

I have about 10 ESX 3.5 host and I would like to monitor them with zabbix (www.zabbix.com). For the moment, I installed zabbix agent on the ESXs and I monitor them like a standard Unix OS (disk usage, system unreachable...) but I would like to monitor also other specific ESX value like datastore usage for example.

For the moment, I found 2 ways to do that :

• With snmp trap

• With custom SSH script

Are they others ways? What is the best solution? Do you have any experience?
