I've inherited a Dell Precision T7500 which seems to include an integrated Broadcom NetXtreme BCM5761,
I know that the T7500 isn't supported for esxi and that there are issues with the nic.
I'm trying to install esxi 4.1.0 Update 1 Build 348481.
Basic install hangs at "Initializing IOV"
I've tried modifying the oem.tgz to include the Broadcom drivers (from http://www.vm-help.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2002) and booting from USB
Same result - hangs at "Initializing IOV"
Any constructive suggestions for installing esxi on this beast?
