Hello,
We're having very terrible performance issues with our Windows 2008 R2 64-bit servers...
Here are the versions information...
vCenter Server v4.0.0 Build 208111
vShere Client v4.0.0 Build 208111
ESX 4.0.0 Build 236512
All our ESX hosts are attached to the same IBM SAN and there are Windows 2003, 2008 and 2008 R2 servers running in our environment. All 2003 and 2008 server aren't having issues, only the R2's are having lagging performance issues such as extremely slow bootup times and general sluggishness. Let's say I have a 2003 , 2008 and 2008 R2 server running on the same LUN and on the same host, all are OK except the 2008 R2. If I check the performance logs, I don't see anything out of the norm. To give you a better idea, two of the 2008 R2 servers are a print server and the other a DC and it takes anywhere from 10-20 minutes to boot.
Any ideas?
