VM can't access vlan

We have a vSwitch with a portgroup that services our Production network with no specific vlans specified (0).  We gave access to a new vlan at the Cisco physical switch level in our blade chassis and the core switches in our data center.

The vSwitch physical adapters show the new vlan along with the production networks when looking at properties of the vSwitch and the port group.

However we still can't get out side the blade chassis with a VM configured to access the new vlan.  Do we need to add a new port group to the vSwitch specifying the new vlan?  Any other ideas?

I attached a doc showing the new VLAN 101 as a network the NICS can see.
