I have one serve ESX 4.0 do not boot the server boot directly on troushooting mode with message:
The root partion specified
(UUID=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX was not found on the COS VMDK that specified
(/vmfs/volumes/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/esxconsole.vmdk).the most bla bla
I follow the kb article 1012142 I have proble when I try to dismount the vmfs module vmfs3, I continue and mofiy esx.conf but when I wan to use the command esxfg-boot -b the system don,t found the esxfg-boot
/bin/sh: esxcfg-boot: not found

If any body have an idea before I make fresh installation, my problem the guy that install this server build only one raid five nos raid for ESX system.. Oups..
